Our program was established in February 2017 by Chris and Stacey Homyk. Their son, Eli, who has autism and is non-verbal was their inspiration. After they saw the benefits of their son participating in special needs athletic programs in St. Louis City and County, they saw a need here in Franklin County. All Abilities Athletics provides these same excellent athletic benefits locally.

In Franklin County and the surrounding area, All Abilities Athletics serves athletes with Aicardi syndrome, autism, ADHD, blindness, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, epilepsy, hearing loss, and spina bifida, just to name a few. We have more than 200 athletes and over 700 volunteers on our All Abilities Athletics Team.

You’ve heard it before, but we really couldn’t do it without the loving support of our volunteers. Through our volunteer buddies, who range from junior high through college, we are creating a culture of understanding and acceptance of those with special needs.
